JACKSON, MS-- The Mississippi Mudcats are proud to announce a Youth Football Camps will be held in July 2025. Children ages 5 – 15 years of age are encouraged to attend this free special one day camp which will focus on teaching young athletes proper football tackling technique, as well as other football and life skills. This is a non-contact camp, so there is no equipment needed.
The camp will incorporate proper tackling techniques along with character-based lessons. The safe, non-contact football instruction teaches children the right way to play and how to avoid injuries. Current Mudcats players serve as camp instructors and provide hands-on teaching of fundamentals, as well as position-specific training.
